Glencoe

Photo Stops · Glen Coe, Lochaber
The Glen of Weeping
Few landscapes in Scotland carry as much weight — literally and emotionally — as Glencoe. Towering, brooding mountains rise almost vertically from a narrow glen, their slopes streaked with waterfalls and scored by ice-age glaciers. It's breathtakingly beautiful and, if you know the history, quietly haunting: this is the site of the infamous 1692 Massacre of Glencoe, when the MacDonald clan were killed by government soldiers they had welcomed as guests — which is precisely why it's known as the "Glen of Weeping." We'll make photo stops along the drive through, so keep your camera ready.

Optional Experience · 13:00

Loch Lomond Boat Trip

Boat cruise on Loch Lomond
Optional · Tarbet, Loch Lomond
The Bonnie Banks, From the Water
Scotland's largest loch by surface area, Loch Lomond is the stuff of song for good reason — and there's no better way to see it than from the water. Cruise past wooded islands, rolling hills, and the lower slopes of Ben Lomond, with wide-open views you simply don't get from the coach window. It's a relaxed, scenic hour that makes the perfect midpoint between the drama of Glencoe and the buzz of Glasgow.

Included · 15:30

Glasgow Cathedral & Necropolis

Included · High Street, Glasgow
Medieval Stone and a City of the Dead
Glasgow Cathedral is one of the only Scottish medieval cathedrals to survive the Reformation intact — a beautiful, atmospheric space of soaring stone arches. Behind it, climb the hill into the Necropolis, a dramatic Victorian cemetery of grand monuments and winding paths, often described as Glasgow's own "city of the dead." It's an unexpectedly beautiful spot, with sweeping views back across the city.

Optional Experience · 18:15

Scottish Platter & Comedy Show

Optional · MAKE TRAVEL MATTER®
A Proper Scottish Send-Off — With Laughs
Round off a huge day of scenery with something completely different: a hearty Scottish sharing platter paired with a genuinely funny local comedy show. This is a MAKE TRAVEL MATTER® experience — part of Trafalgar's commitment to supporting local communities and businesses, meaning your evening directly benefits the people putting it on. Good food, good company, and a proper laugh to close out your last night in Scotland.
