Benvenuti! I am Carmela, an Italian who is lucky enough to call Florence home — and has a deep love for this country and a passion for sharing it. I have worked as a Travel Director for Insight Vacations for several years, specialising in Italy, Great Britain, Ireland and France.

Tuscany and Central Italy are places that I hold especially close to my heart — from the rolling cypress-clad hills and world-class wines of Chianti to the medieval towers of San Gimignano, the artistic treasures of Florence and the ancient cobblestones of Rome. Every corner tells a story and I cannot wait to share it with you.

You have worked hard to get here. My job is to make sure every moment counts — from the first truffle hunt in Umbria to the last gelato in Siena. I will be with you every step of the way.
